Specific Learning Disorder Assessment | Children, Adolescents and Young Adults

Enlightened Minds Psychology Assessments provides comprehensive Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults. Depending on your child’s individual needs, assessments may include:

• Parent intake appointment (1 hour appointment)

• Cognitive assessment (1 hour 30 minute appointment)

• Academic assessment battery (2 hour appointment)

• Review of school reports

• Teacher consultation

• Parent feedback appointment (1 hour appointment)

• Comprehensive report

Specific Learning Disorder assessments are conducted at our practice in Wantirna. We also offer a mobile service, allowing assessments to take place at your child’s school in nearby suburbs such as Bayswater, Knox, Ringwood, and Heathmont. We’re also happy to visit schools in more distant suburbs; however, a travel fee may apply.

At Enlightened Minds Psychology Assessments, SLD assessments are completed when your child presents with an academic challenge in one or more specific areas. We are able to assess for SLDs, such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia.
